Our Story...
BPR was formed 25 years ago when a group of then 15-year old mates wanted to play football together. That team is still going strong and some of the original founder members are still playing (just!).
In those 25 years, there have been 11 trophies, 1 league title and over 300 players. While trophies are nice, the greatest reward has been building a family amongst friends.
To keep the spirit of BPR alive, we've started U14's, U15's & U18's Youth Teams as well as our first girls team. Our aim is to provide the next generation with the same unforgettable experiences we had. This wouldn't be possible without the kind donations from the BPR community so get involved and come join us on May 31st!
Why are we crowdfunding?
A few years ago, the journey began again with a new U14 team. That team played almost a full season before interruption by the COVID-19 crisis. Despite this, BPR came back stronger than ever. We saw first hand the impact lockdown had on the mental and physical well-being of young players and we are determined to play as much football as we can!
As we approach the end of the 24/25 season we're putting together plans for new teams and with the support of BPR community we're hopeful we can make this another huge success.
How we’ll spend the money raised..
All money raised will go directly to the running of the newly formed girls team plus the U21's, U18's & U15's teams (and launching new teams). We need to fund the following:
- Bursaries for those who are unable to cover their subs
- Equipment for 2025/26 training (goals, balls, nets, weekend pitch hire)
- Hire of a floodlit pitch facility for weekly winter training next season for all our squads
- A new kit for the U15 team for next season
- 2 X FA training courses.
- A team tracksuit for the boys.
We believe no-one should be priced out of football!

Looking forward to seeing you all for a day of sunshine, football and good times!
