Boxers Barbers 4 Ukraine was founded 1st March 2022 and provides support and humanitarian aid to those affected by the invasion of Ukraine. As a smaller organisation, Boxers Barbers 4 Ukraine, has found itself agile enough to adapt to the changing needs of the Ukrainian people and is able to reach communities that larger organisations might otherwise overlook. We organise tandem projects, with a focused approach, communicating with Ukrainian contacts, to provide the most suitable help. Most recently, collecting and delivering donations of food, clothing, lighting and household goods to Borodyanka and, in collaboration with Basildon twinning association, purchasing and delivering generators to support the Community of Borodyanka. Another mission involved delivering car parts for Korosten fire department, shoebox care packages to Malyn Beavers, for distribution to frontline soldiers, and collecting and delivering donations of food, clothing and cleaning materials to a special needs orphanage, that is funded entirely by charitable donations. More recently, we provided transport for large industrial kitchen units, from Germany to Truskavets, collected and deliver donated food aid and utilising donated money to purchase required equipment for Truskavets refugee centre. Similar missions are in planning, including returning to Borodyanka and Truskavets, to provide ongoing support to those that need it.
