I'm raising money to help keep Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers open at a time when funding is desperately short
On Thursday, October 2, I cycled 101 miles - 161km and climbed 5,085ft - 1,550m - to help Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers' emergency appeal. The centre needs £70,000 urgently if it's to stay open.
Having looked closely over many years at the plight of refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, I know it's vital such facilities exist to help people with language learning and other forms of support.
I'm grateful for all the contributions so far but hope even more people will consider donating to help the centre to meet its emergency fundraising target.
