BOX CLEVA

RCN 1161216, Watford

We operate sporting and educational youth initiatives across Hertfordshire, centred on the sport of amateur boxing, based on the same protocols that an amateur boxer would take whilst training, with the exception of sparring, this is an absolutely no contact initiative.

BOX CLEVA

We are a multiple award winning and long-established youth charity who operate right across the county of Hertfordshire.

Our innovative programme is based on weekly sporting sessions, centred on the sport of amateur boxing, in a strictly non-contact format.  One quarter of each session is dedicated to our educational programme, which is designed to fully engage with attendees in a wide range of contemporary issues they face.

These are the impacts we have:

  • Providing positive male role models.
  • Reducing ASB and truancy levels.
  • Promoting exercise and healthy living.
  • Helping to tackle gang, knife and gun crime culture.
  • Helping to tackle substance abuse.
  • Promoting respect for the law, other people and property.
  • Reducing violence against girls and women.
  • Promoting gender and racial equality in society.

Our sessions are operated weekly during school term time, for anyone between the ages of 7years to 15 years of age.   Each is delivered by fully qualified and experienced boxing trainers, who all hold Enhanced DBS clearance and first aid certificates.
