Aim

We aim to improve our playing surface to encourage more players to enjoy the game of bowls and become part of our community.

Who are we?

We are a local Bowling Club with a village feel. We offer a friendly & social environment for people to enjoy the sport of Bowls from complete beginners to the more experienced. Ladies & Gents, young or not so young, age is of no concern, all are welcome.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are trying to improve our Green (Playing Surface) so that it is better & more durable to play on for both our existing members & visiting teams, also to encourage new members.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The money raised will go towards the cost of reseeding, feeding, drainage & works to level the green. We will need to make use of an expert to advise us as these works  take place over the closed season. Looking to the future we also need to look at our irrigation system.

We are a village club & with better facilities we can encourage more players to join us in a friendly social environment where people can come to socialise with others & enjoy a game of bowls.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
