We are a local bowling club situated in Newcastle upon Tyne that are under threat of closure due to local government funding cuts. We have been asked to take over the running of the club from the City Council and as we're situated in one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country the members don't have the resources necessary to take this on.
We have produced players in the past the have gone on to gain national and international recognition and we hope to continue this into the future.
We offer a social lifeline to the local community and don't want to see this dissappear.
