Bournemouth Half Marathon

I will be running the Bournemouth Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October 2025 with the goal of raising money for Home-Start Wessex. 

Home-Start Wessex is a local charity supporting families with young children across Dorset. They offer friendship, practical and emotional support to families with young children living in Dorset who are having difficulties such as poor mental health, postnatal depression, disability, domestic abuse, bereavement, isolation, financial hardship and multiple births. Their mission is to give children the best possible start in life, by supporting parents so they grow in confidence, strengthening and enjoying their relationships with their children and widening their links with the local community.

I volunteer as a Trustee for Home-Start Wessex and see the ongoing impact of the great work that this charity does. Home-Start Wessex have supported over 500 families across Dorset in the past year with over 850 children receiving support.
