Cost of Living Crisis Appeal

What happens when you can’t afford the basics? When you have to choose between staying warm or buying food? 

The cost of living crisis means it's a challenging time for us all but many local people are at breaking point and are frightened about the future. We've heard the most heartbreaking stories about families in crisis, struggling against rising prices and not having enough to cover the basics.

With more and more people facing hardship, we've started this appeal so that no one needs to go without food in the current crisis. We need your help to raise enough money to meet the rise in need and help people get back on their feet.

In September 2021 we provided emergency food support to 713 people, 150 of which were children. In September 2022 we helped 997, of which 279 were children.

Your support can take away fear and dread.  

It can help us at Bournemouth Foodbank reach more people with the emergency food and the support they need to move out of crisis and receive specialist advice to address long term problems that they may be facing.
