Bournemouth is the third highest area in the country for people struggling to afford food - with your help, we can change that.

What happens when you can’t afford the basics? When you have to choose between staying warm or buying food?
Right now, many families in Bournemouth are facing impossible decisions - having to choose between staying warm or buying food.
The cost of living crisis mean it's a challenging time for us all but many local people are at breaking point and are frightened about the future. With the energy price cap rise, food costs up and inflated housing costs, things look deeply uncertain for many in our area.
At Bournemouth Foodbank, we've heard – first-hand – how people are going hungry and skipping meals just so they can pay the bills.
We believe that no one should go hungry this winter and that's why we're asking for your help.
Your support can take away fear and dread.
It can help us at Bournemouth Foodbank reach more people with the emergency food and support they need to move out of crisis and receive specialist support to address long term problems that they may be facing.
It can help us campaign for policy changes that could eradicate hunger altogether and provide our clients with the support and opportunities they need to get on in life. Because we all want to see a future without the need for foodbanks.
