Sport England - Movement Fund has provided £14,952 of match funding
Our aim is to purchase a new bouncier and softer floor to help current and future gymnasts to reach their goals and aspirations.
We are a charity based British Gymnastics Club who offer recreational, competitive, home education and pre school for ages from 1 to 18+. We started off in a sports hall and worked our way up into our very own building and now have 450 members. We are now about to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. We believe in helping anyone who enters our club reach their goals and dreams in becoming the best they can be.
We are raising money to purchase a new floor. We currently have a ply wood based floor which is around 30 years old which is no longer suitable for our gymnasts exceptional skills. We would like to purchase the new floor which will be softer for preschool and will help with sensory seeking but also this helps our current and new members with reaching new skills because the new floor will be bouncier and kinder to young gymnasts bodies.

Your donations will help us raise our goal of £15000 which will be put with funding we have managed to achieve from sport england for the new floor.
The new floor will make a big impact on our new and current members. The floor will be bigger so we will be able to hold more competitions including recreational. This helps the gymnasts realise how far they have come and how hard they have worked. Also we will be able to hold classes for a wider range of abilities. We as a club pride ourselves on helping children reach their goals and aspirations. At the moment we have a large numbers of members who have disabilities, the floor will help them be safer during their sensory seeking as the floor will be softer and bouncier.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
