WHO ARE WE?
We are Chelmsford Gymnastics Club! Set in the heart of the community, we are a safe space for hundreds of local kids to exercise and learn in a friendly environment.
From Preschool to Competitive classes, we cater for a wide range of ages and abilities with the emphasis on having fun and leading a healthy lifestyle!
We are incredibly proud to have been home to not one but TWO British Champions of Disability Gymnastics. Who knows if the next Olympian is in our midst?!
Our club is more than just a place to train, it's where friendships are built, confidence is boosted and young minds are inspired. Please help us to keep it that way!
WHY ARE WE FUND RAISING?
The COVID CRISIS has hit our club hard - dramatically reducing our capacity when we were allowed to be open and being closed for 8 months has left us in a precarious position. With the crippling cost of our rent, we are struggling to meet our basic running costs.
At this time more than ever, exercise, fitness and wellbeing is a real necessity for our children's mental health and though we may not be open at the moment, we know that with your help, the light is at the end of the tunnel. It would be so sad to fall at the final hurdle. Please donate to secure our future so that we can continue to support and nurture our young people in this way.
Crowdfunder is making it 100% free for community and charity crowdfunding projects during the coronavirus crisis. The Covid-19 epidemic could affect millions of people in the next few weeks.
These are unprecedented times but together, we are stronger, and the response is coming from communities across the country.
Volunteer groups are springing up to tackle the logistical problems faced in our communities – but they need urgent support. That's where we come in.
