Who we are
We are Bosla Arts - a collective of art practitioners and activists who actively seek to support artists worldwide who are facing persecution and imprisonment for their work, while drawing on their experiences to raise and spread awareness to the UK public.
Over the previous decades, we have witnessed movements across the world rise up and challenge corruption, injustice, and poverty. With it, there has been a rise in artists using their creative mediums to express themselves, their politics, and their opinions, while educating others on their socio-political situation. In an attempt to silence them, the world has also seen a distinct increase in clampdowns on artists by governments, militaries, and other oppressive forces.
