Aim
To complete the installation of floodlights to our 3 existing courts.
Who are we?
Bohemians LTC has recently joined up with Vagabonds LTC - Bohemians @ Vagabonds - an exciting new project bringing two of the Cities tennis clubs combining forces to create a new joined up concept.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We want to be able to finish off installing floodlights to our 3 existing courts which would allow longer playing hours and also plan to put in 2 more tennis courts in the future which would allow us to be able to offer more weekly tennis sessions to club members aswel as anyone in the wider community wishing to enjoy the sport at their own leisure.
We will run coaching sessions available for anyone to book onto. Initially starting with a kids coaching programme.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Completion of floodlights (for existing 3 courts) - £20k and anything extra will got towards installing 1 additional artificial clay court and 1 tarmac court.
Community impact
We ultimately want to get people in the community active but also bringing people together to form new friendships and building confidence.
We want to build on our current friendly community that we already have at the club.
We also have a cosy social club which is perfect for gatherings small or large. It has superb bar facilities, perfect for refreshments after a game of tennis
