Our Cosy Cafe is open Monday-Friday 10am-1130am as somewhere warm and welcoming for people to go and get free task and tea/coffee and have a chat! Our electricity and gas charges have increased dramatically and any money raised will go towards paying these bills so we can continue to offer this service to the local community free of charge
Boomerang Community Centre SCIO is based in the Stobswell area of Dundee and has many groups and activities on offer.
Boomerang Community Centre SCIO is based in the Stobswell area of Dundee and aims to create a better everyday life for those in our community through various groups and activities.
Our Cosy Cafe allows people somewhere warm to go each morning, where they can get some tea, coffee and toast for free. Our staff and volunteers will have a chat with them and provide any help or support that they need.
We also have a food larder, lunch club, stay and play toddler group, various craft activities and much more!
We are providing the Cosy Cafe as a way to help those who are struggling with the rising cost of living by providing somewhere warm to go. However, we are also now facing huge rises in electricity and gas prices too. We would appreciate any help that anyone can give so that we can continue to offer this valuable service.
Any funds that we raise will go towards helping to pay for our gas and electricity to keep the centre warm and cosy for those people attending!
