Aim
This book is to raise money for my cat's vet bill. Please claim a book when you make a pledge so I can give you something to say thank you!
My dear three-legged cat Cecile is having problems with her back legs. The vet thinks she has something wrong with her spine. She needs an MRI scan to check if it is a tumour or a slipped disc. She is insured but they will only cover a third of the cost, so I thought I would make a book to raise the rest of the funds. It means everyone gets a lovely hand printed book and she gets the scan she needs.
The book is a concertina, open it measures 10 cm x 70 cm and closed it measures 10 x 10 cm. It is hand screen printed in three colours. The drawings are from my sketchbooks; a while ago I drew "a cat a day". The book will be packaged in a handprinted in a glassine envelope.
Cecile is a determined girl and is full of life but currently only one of her legs (the front one) works. She is getting about but it really isn't easy for her.
It would be great to know what I am dealing with by having the scan. I would appreciate any help and I am sending the biggest thank you in advance.
