Bringing the Community together - Again!
Who are we?
We are a group of residents who are working to bring life back to a under utilised centre and encouraging a broader user base to support the villagers during a time of financial difficulties.

Community impact
The group is run entirely by volunteers of various ages and genders who are committed to bringing both young and old to improve activities and skills with the money being used to finance these activities so that residents are not excluded by lack of financial resources
Why are we crowdfunding?
Chopwell is on old mining village in North West Durham which suffers from high levels of unemployment and social and financial depravation. Our aim is to provide assistance to our residents to improve the quality of life and wellbeing and become more self reliant.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The funding will be spent on improving the service provision in the village by expanding the existing warm spaces activities of two mornings per week to 6 sessions per week
