We are fundraising to improve the training facilities available to our juniors and our fast‑growing women’s and girls’ teams.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are fundraising to improve the training facilities available to our juniors and our fast‑growing women’s and girls’ teams.

At present, all junior and women’s/girls training takes place on Friday evenings during club night. However, with only limited net facilities and training equipment, these sessions aren’t as effective as they could be. Demand is growing quickly, but our facilities haven’t kept up and we want to change that.

To support our players properly, we need to invest in improved training equipment and repair our existing nets so everyone has fair access to safe, high‑quality practice. We also want our girls' teams to attend softball festivals proudly representing Bolton Percy CC with proper playing kit.
To kick off our fundraising, club members will be completing a sponsored 20‑mile walk along the East Coast headland from Filey to Bridlington, passing several of the grounds Bolton Percy CC has played at over the years, including Sewerby CC!

How we’ll spend the money raised
We want to be fully transparent about how every donation will be used. Our goal is to directly improve the training experience for every junior and every women’s and girls’ player at the club.
Breakdown of significant costs:
Every pound will go directly into improving cricketing opportunities for the next generation of players at Bolton Percy CC.
Following the success of our fundraising, we have far surpassed our original aims and the committee have identified 3 further projects they would like to bring forward where possible:
- These are as follows:
- £2,000 to improve the access to the pavilion through the extension of the hardcore roadway up to the pavilion.
- £2,000 to improve the facilities on the patio area, further weatherproofing, providing eco-friendly heating and better furniture to expand the capacity of the bar area
- £3,000 to improve the 3rd changing room area, making this a more permanent facility which can be more widely used during match days.
Community impact
Bolton Percy CC plays a vital role in the local community. Our junior, women’s and girls’ programmes are growing rapidly, giving young people a positive, active and social environment to build confidence, develop sporting skills and make lifelong friendships.

Improved training facilities will allow us to:
Our ground is also a hub for families, parents and supporters, a space where the whole village comes together.
