Back in 2013 I purchased and had installed the first live streaming webcam, with sound, on the Pier at Bognor Regis on the South coast of the UK, to help promote my home town.  Since then the webcam has had over 16 million views from 84 countries. During this time I have received so many heartwarming messages and emails from webcam viewers across the world.

Technology has moved on a lot since then and the casing of the webcam is becoming corroded due to the harsh salt air environment in which it lives.

I will, very soon, need to upgrade the webcam and replace the casing. I would also like to set up and install infrared lights so that the beach would be visible at night.
