Aim
To buy a memorial bench and rose bush to have a permanent memorial to Bob.
Robert ‘Bob’ Mockridge was a man known and loved by so many people.
Scouting, Sea Scouts, St.John Ambulance, Royal British Legion, Myton Hospice, macmillan nurses, Battersea Cats&Dogs. We’re just a few charities that got dads time, money and volunteered hours.
He gave himself to the betterment of others especially the youth. And even more so to his two sons.
Bob enjoyed his time working at British Gas, Royal Mail, Lowri Beck and especially his beloved Kilworth Springs Golf Club. So when he took time to rest it was usually with his roses or in the English countryside.
Bob left us all a little poorer and the world a little less cheekier on 16th May 2026 and I cannot think of anything more fitting than a bench to sit and listen to the nature around you and take in the smell of a rose bush.
