Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture during a career spanning more than 60 years. Selling over 125 million records worldwide, he is one of the bestselling artists of all time. During the '60s his songs became known for their poetic construction and their themes of social justice and human dignity. His impeccable song writing has gained him many accolades including 10 Grammys, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award, and the Nobel Prize for Literature.

The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan

His album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan is part of Rolling Stone's '500 Greatest Albums of All Time’. The album became synonymous with how young Americans felt about Nuclear Disarmament and the growing Civil Rights Movement in the '60s, securing his popularity as a major American artist and pop culture icon spanning over half a century.

The album was released on May 27th, 1963.

The Blue Vinyl campaign is a special re-release of 10 vinyl albums, pressed in UNICEF’s signature cyan blue. Blue Vinyl is raising money for UNICEF UK’s Children’s Emergency Fund for children affected by conflict and disaster.

The 48 limited edition blue vinyl copies of each of the 10 albums signal UNICEF’s ability to respond to an emergency affecting children wherever they are, whenever crisis hits, within 48 hours.

Each vinyl is individually numbered from 1 to 48 and adorned with a numbered holographic UNICEF edition sticker on the front.
