Aim

Blue Bear Coffee Co. has launched its first purpose-driven espresso bar, further extending our mission to fight slavery through coffee.

Blue Bear Coffee Co. is the trading name of The Justice Business CIC, a social enterprise founded with the singular objective of fighting slavery, through coffee. 

We are an anti-slavery organisation that supplies ethically sourced coffee to individuals and businesses as a means of generating sustainable funding to effective programs around the world protecting, equipping and empowering survivors of modern slavery.

Blue Bear Coffee Co. was launched in 2018 from a crowd funding campaign that generated a seed fund of £7000. To date, Blue Bear has donated over £50,000 to projects aligned with our mission.

In 2022, we launched Blue Bear Freedom in the UK and Dominican Republic, a registered charity that provides long term aftercare to children rescued from human trafficking and provides a preventative education programme to primary schools across the UK and with partners delivering our translated programme in five different countries around the world.

This summer we are launching a coffee shop in Norwich City Centre (Blue Bear Coffee Tombland) to bring blue bear from its online existence into a commercial, business to customer space, growing our community of coffee lovers with hearts for justice.

All of the profits from the coffee shop will continue our mission, expanding our eduction programme and our capacity to provide aftercare to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. We also plan to use the space to host events to raise awareness to our cause.

In order to do so successfully, we need your help. We are looking to raise the funds to buy our shop's coffee machine, the beating heart of the business. We want a great machine that will serve the finest, justice-flavoured espresso in Norwich. 

We can't have a coffee shop without a machine and we would love some help from our community of supporters, our beloved bear pack, in covering some of our initial costs.

We are so grateful for everyone's support in getting us to this point and we are excited about the future of Blue Bear Coffee Tombland and can't wait to partner with more coffee loving justice seekers.
