Blood Bikes Santa Run 2023

Aim

Every year the volunteers for Northumbria Blood Bikes collect toys/gifts for children's wards in hospitals across for NE if England.

Our team of volunteers love to spread a bit of festive joy over the festive period and each year visit children's wards in hospitals across the North East of England. We hope that these gifts make any child that finds themselves in hospital over the Christmas period feel a little bit of magic that comes with lots of love. 

Over the year's this Blood Biking Santa Run has grown and grown with us visiting 8 difference children's wards last year. So, of course this year we're going even bigger with even more hospitals being included. Our volunteers always amaze us with how many toys/gifts they donate and collect from their friends, family and work colleagues. However, we know that sometimes people don't know what to buy, or have time to get something and we get asked how others can support our Blood Bikes Santa Run appeal and that is where this Crowdfunder comes in. Our very special Blood Bike Elf has a list from Santa for the children in hospital so all money donated to this fundraiser will go towards fulfilling this special request.
