We need your help to make sure our support is accessible and inclusive to all families, improving the outcomes for premature or sick babies.
For the last 40 years, Bliss has been the leading UK charity for the 90,000 babies born needing neonatal care every year. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the best outcomes for premature or sick babies, and an essential part of this is ensuring parents feel empowered to care for their baby. Bliss helps parents to play this hands-on role in care by providing them with the crucial information and support they need, wherever they are in their journey.
This is what is best for babies, giving them a better chance of survival and quality of life. However, some people have difficulty accessing our information and support, particularly those who are visually impaired, have learning disabilities, or those for whom English is not their first language.
It's vital that parents get the support they need, but we need your help to ensure everyone has access to our information and support.

We know that when your newborn baby needs to stay in hospital it can be deeply upsetting for the whole family. Having to watch your baby go through different tests and treatments, learning and understanding a new medical vocabulary, possibly juggling care for other children, all whilst coping with exhaustion and stress after a traumatic experience.
Bliss is a lifeline for many, and our online information and support is there for parents whenever they need it, empowering them to feel confident having a hands-on role in their baby’s care. This is how the best outcomes for babies are achieved - but it is essential that we reach all families, regardless of their circumstance.
Bliss is a lifeline for many, and we urgently need your help to ensure we can provide essential information and support to all families.
We're aiming to raise £2,000 which will allow us to pay for a toolbar on our website for 12 months, making our support pages more accessible to all families, wherever they are in their journey.

We know times are tough for everyone, but you could make a big difference in empowering parents to be more involved and supported with their baby's care, and ensuring that all babies born premature or sick have the best chance of survival and quality of life.
