SUNDAY 7th June is the last day. PLEASE RETURN YOUR FORMS BY MIDNIGHT.
Bishopstone Primary School was established in 1849 and is still housed within the same Victorian building by the village pond. This unique school has just under 50 students which makes fundraising a little trickier for us. One of the ways we try to raise money for more school resources is getting involved in the Duck Trail and promoting it out to families.
Bishopstone Duck Trail is similar to a Scarecrow trail and normally runs through the village of Bishopstone, however this has just not be possible this year as we wish to protect our vulnerable residents. You'd normally take a stroll through this picturesque Ridgway village whilst guessing what our ducks represent depending on the theme. This year our theme is "Heroes and Villains" and each of the wooden ducks is representing one.
However because of lockdown we are now offering that walk virtually via our you tube video (see our info below). We will take you on a tour of our beautiful village around the duck pond (next to the school, the reason we use ducks instead of scarecrows), through "the city", past thatched cottages nestled around our natural spring and down "the Dingle".
Quiz sheets usually cost £4 but any donation would be welcome. We would welcome £1, £2, £5 or more if you have not been affected by the this pandemic financially.
Once you’ve donated (if you are able to - it is not a pre-requisite) please email [email protected] and we will provide you with the trail form, the link to the video and details on how you can easily send your completed form back.
Good Luck!
