Bishop of Carlisle and SSF Caring for Carers Fund

This is a collaborative project between the Diocese of Carlisle and the Sacred Space Foundation. We've spent decades helping carers with retreats and time out days. This project is much bigger - we will provide FREE holidays/retreats for carers working in Cumbria who have been so stretched in these pandemic times. The intention is to provide them with a nurturing space at the diocesan retreat centre at Rydal Hall. Carers can just rest and be taken care of with their own rooms and full board - just chilling out with solo time or opting into relaxations sessions, guided walks and group discussions as prefered. We have 45 places for three nights reserved at the Hall this year and hope to offer more next year
