We're excited for our first Bi Pride in 2019, and we've secured the venue, but can you help us to pay for BSL interpretation at the event?

We are Bi Pride UK, a team of volunteers running a charity to create celebratory spaces for people who experience attraction beyond gender, and we need your help.
With statistics pointing to 59% of the LGB 16-24 year olds being bi (ONS 2016), but still facing the myths and stereotypes that come with these bi sexualities, a pride event has never been more needed. This is why the volunteers working for Bi Pride UK are working harder than ever to make 2019 the year that the bi communities deserve.
We are really excited for our first Bi Pride in 2019, an event for all people who are attracted to more than one gender to come together and celebrate their identities, as well as send a message to the wider society that there are still inequalities faced by members of our communities.
After a few financial set-backs, we are tripling our efforts to make sure we give our communities the Pride event they deserve, and what we need more than anything right now is the venue deposit to secure a perfect venue. With just £1,500, we can lock in our venue in Hackney and ensure that Bi Pride on Saturday 7th September will be everything it should be.
The venue we’ve found is fully accessible to people with additional mobility needs with a large lift between floors and access ramps to the entries, we will be dedicating a room for the trans members of our communities to get changed on site, there’ll be a dedicated prayer space, and we hope to provide a quiet area with equipment for people with additional sensory needs. We think it’s pretty perfect!
