We're still collecting donations
On the 3rd April 2021 we'd raised £4,800 with 58 supporters in 20 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
I want to create a funny, moving, play on an open top tour bus. A new tourist attraction, to celebrate London and the end of Covid

If I raise above my goal, I will use the extra money to hire more people to work with me on the script, making sure that the script is written from a multitude of different points of view.
If I raise any more than that, I will be able to do even more rehearsals on the moving bus and the actors will be able to get more comfortable with how the show will need to change to accommodate the traffic.
For the last eight years I have run London's leading (and only) provider of factually inaccurate walking tours.
I've created and performed site specific comedy to thousands of people. Time Out London have twice picked me as one of the "top 101 things to do in London" and I've written eight different tours, three of them for the City of London themselves. It's been LOADS of fun and a great adventure.
For the last three years I've been trying to develop a new piece which combines what's fun about the tours with a narrative that allows for more character development and some serious themes mixed with the comedy.
I want to create a fun, novel, (emotionally and physically) moving experience for Londoners and tourists alike and I hope it could even become a new London landmark! "Oh look mum, there's the Bill Shutter bus!"
I've written a couple of drafts of the script so far and poured hundreds of hours into it's development. I've got a good idea about how to approach it and some really talented people around me who are prepared to help.
The problem is, it's expensive to try it out. So the only way I can make it happen is to get some funding.
I'm applying for Arts Council Funding to cover most of the cost of the development. But, I will only get that, if I can cover the remainder of the costs myself. As the last year has been so hard for live entertainment I don't have any revenue to put into this so I'm hoping to raise money through this crowd funder and through the mayor of London's pay it forward scheme to be able to launch an exciting, new, covid safe, experience to offer London as we come out of Lockdown.
