Raising money to fund the cost of a blue plaque on the house that Bill Nicholson grew up in
This year it will be 90 years since Bill Nicholson joined Spurs as a ground staff boy so it would be a great year to commemorate him.
As part of the celebrations, Scarborough and District Civic Society have agreed to install a plaque on the house that Bill Nicholson grew up in.
Now an auction house, the once childhood home of our legendary double-winning manager will be honoured by the plaque in association with the local Council and several wonderful volunteers and the ceremony will be attended by THST members.
To help achieve this, THST are raising money to fund the cost of the plaque being installed and that is due to be unveiled in July.
