Acquisition of premises for Bilal Masjid Greenford

Bilal Masjid need your support!

Establishing Bilal Masjid as an independent and stable faith hub is of absolute importance to our local community. 

 “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Muslim, Sahih)

Covid19 caused many difficulties and highlighted a need to diversify the income and finance of Bilal Masjid to ensure its security. With falling donations due to the lockdown, our masjid came under threat of complete closure.

In our efforts to ensure Bilal Masjid can continue serving the local Greenford and Sudbury Hill community for years to come insha’Allah, we have embarked on a new venture of purchasing one of the flats located above the masjid.

Our need:

This flat will provide accommodation for the Imam or masjid team whose commitment and dedication to maintaining the prayer and community services is so valuable. Furthermore, the purchase of this flat will help to secure the masjid finances by generating a rental income – meaning that we can recover some of the funds we have lost due to the Covid19 pandemic and safeguard against further financial difficulties, insha’Allah. By helping us to purchase the flat, you will be helping to build the masjid for the future.

We have already raised 1 third of the funds needed to purchase the flat outright and now need the support of the local community to complete the sale.
