Aim

We are making a BigStand against mass housing developments proposed on historical countryside green land.

We want Organic sustainable housing growth not Mass housing for Profit.

The current Horsham District Council Local plan for the next 10-15 years is proposing 10+ major developments ranging from several hundred new houses to 4000+ with the creation of a New Town in Adversane. Adversane is a conservation area of 80+ house connected with the hamlet of North Heath. This is of historical and environmental importance with the Roman road (Stane St) and Ancient woodlands. Billingshurst has seen massive development over the last few years and is again being asked to build another 1000+ houses on prime agricultural land....not brownfield but greenfield. None of the proposals show sustainability or sufficient infrastructure to support such developments.

The proposal is unsuitable for the sites mentioned, for a myriad of reasons, but we face major investors as well as government and local councillors that will push for its development, we need your support .

We are looking for funding to mount a professional campaign against such mass developments. We need professional Planning consultants, Lawyers, Advertising, PR groups and campaign managers. We really appreciate your help to protect the countryside, environment and that you are making a Big STAND against mass housing developments.
