The Cause
Did you know? Leigh Folk Festival is run by Leigh Folk Arts — a self-funded, local volunteer-led charity committed to bringing the arts to our community.
For over 30 years, this community event has filled Leigh-on-Sea with vibrant, free entertainment — from music and dance to storytelling and family fun. It celebrates grassroots creativity and the rich culture we share.
But we’re now facing rising costs and a growing need for funding . It takes over £50,000 a year to keep the festival going — and we need urgent support.

Key Dates:
- The prize draw closes at 11:59 PM on 14th July 2026.
- The draw will take place on 15th July 2026.
Eligibility:
- You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- Open to UK residents only.
Winner Announcement: All lucky winners will be selected at random using a random number generator. If you win, we will contact you directly via the details you provided when entering. We will also announce the winners on our Crowdfunder 'Updates' tab by 22nd of July 2026 and details will be available by sending an email to [email protected]. Physical prizes must be collected from donors or an address to be advised.
Free Entry Route: To enter the draw for free without making a financial contribution, please send a postcard or enclosed letter with your full name, address, email address, and contact telephone number to: Leigh Folk Arts Association, 20 Ceylon Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, SS0 7HP. Please note: Postal entries must arrive by 12th July 2026 to be included in the draw. One entry per postcard/letter.
