Support Bibury Cricket Club this Boxing Day! Sponsor a duck for £2 and race to win amazing prizes — all for a great village cause.
Bibury Duck Race
The Bibury Duck Race is an annual event supporting Bibury Cricket Club, alongside a local charity cause, held in our beautiful Cotswold village.
For every £2 you donate, you sponsor your very own little yellow duck, which will take to the river on Boxing Day 2025. If your duck wins, you will scoop some brilliant prizes from our generous supporters.
All ducks are responsibly collected after the race, making this a very green event.
The Prizes
- Champagne Afternoon Tea for two at The Swan Hotel, Bibury
- Dinner and a bottle of wine at one of our local gastro pubs
- A signed Gloucestershire T20 shirt

The Cause
Village cricket is under threat, with clubs closing across the country at an alarming rate. At Bibury Cricket Club, we are proud to be a local institution, providing sport, community events and a welcoming space for all ages.
By buying a ticket for the Bibury Duck Race, 100 percent of your donation goes directly towards supporting the club. This includes improving facilities, investing in kit for younger players, and preserving our stunning ground in one of England’s most beautiful Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
