Let's turn Brighton & Hove Green in 2027!
Across the country, we've seen Greens elected in communities that had never voted Green before. More and more people are choosing the politics of hope over fear.
And here in Brighton & Hove, we've just taken a seat from Labour in the Goldsmid by-election with a record-breaking swing and elected the brilliant Nadia Barton Ahmad.
In 2027, we'll be running Brighton & Hove Green Party's biggest local election campaign ever.
If we succeed, we can shape the future of Brighton & Hove for the rest of the decade. We can turn the politics of hope into real change to people's lives - on housing, climate, public services and the identity of our city.
And we have the winning campaign plan finalised and ready to go. But there’s a problem. We don't have the resources we need to deliver it.
We need £25,000 in order to carry out our winning campaign plan - to build the team and campaign infrastructure we need to win in 2027.
And thanks to an incredibly generous supporter, we're starting this campaign with a huge opportunity: an anonymous donor has pledged to match the first £5,000 we raise.
That means every pound you donate in the early stages of this crowdfunder will have twice the impact, helping our campaign get off to the strongest possible start.
Most people don’t realise this: Very little of your national membership fee stays local. Everything Brighton & Hove Green Party spends - on staff, campaigns, infrastructure and outreach - comes from your donations.
