Aim

Sirlute’s new creative hub will empower 1,000+ young people yearly with free access, mentoring, support and creative pathways

1762945036_img_2263.jpg

Sirlute has spent six years empowering over 700 young people through creative learning and mentoring programmes.

Now, we’re taking the next step: transforming a long-term community unit into a fully equipped creative studio complex with 7 specialised spaces for music, film, fashion, and digital design.

The studios will become a permanent home for our youth-led movement, providing free access, mentoring, and personal development to 1,000 young people annually.

Built in partnership with Ballymore and supported by organisations such as ELAM College and Safer London, the facility will anchor our mission to ensure young people, especially those facing disadvantage, can access creative opportunities and leadership pathways.

Who We Are:

Sirlute is a free creative learning, mentoring, and training centre for underserved young people aged 5 to 25 years old, ensuring young Londoners can access quality creative opportunities with the support to reach their potential.

What we'll deliver:

  • Fit out and launch a state of the art creative hub, including recording studios, film and fashion spaces, a multimedia lab and a movement space alongside a classroom/multi-use area.
  • Provide 10,000+ hours of free creative access and mentoring annually.
  • Deliver structured programmes in music, fashion, game design, and multimedia, all free for young people.
  • Host quarterly open events showcasing young people’s creative work and progress.

Why it's a great idea:

Education & Employability: Deliver hands-on training, accredited learning and mentoring that connects directly to real-world careers.

Community Cohesion: Bringing together a diverse group of young people and mentors in a shared creative space, building trust and belonging.

Wellbeing: Strengthening confidence, self-esteem and purpose through creative expression and peer support.
