Aim

Help disabled children dance their way to inclusion and health! Support Flamingo Chicks to showcase the power of dance as a sport.

On Friday 2nd May in our last dance class of the term we'll donate to Flamingo Chicks to wear a tutu!

Adult Ballet Classes are supporting the Bristol-based charity, Flamingo Chicks. Together we're breaking down barriers and putting disabled children in the spotlight through dance!

Since 2013, Flamingo Chicks has given 47,778 children with additional needs the opportunity to explore movement through dance, creating a more inclusive world where all abilities are celebrated.

Why This Matters

Disabled children face significant barriers to being active, with 41% remaining inactive and obesity rates 38% higher than their peers. They also face a loneliness epidemic, with 45% regularly feeling lonely.

Flamingo Chicks is changing this. Dance is more than movement—it’s a powerful tool for social connection, confidence, and wellbeing.

📊 Flamingo Chicks' impact:

🦩 81% of children see improved physical wellbeing

🦩 88% gain confidence and resilience

🦩 88% of schools saw an increase in emotional wellbeing (23% increase on last year)

🦩78% of professionals felt they had learnt new techniques from us, with 95% going on to implement them in their own practice

Join Flamingo Chicks in making dance truly accessible—so no child is left out.

👉 Donate today and help Flamingo Chicks reach an extra 12,000 children in 2025!
