About the project

This app enables individuals to place bets with friends through social media networks. Bets can be placed on a variety of games, sports and hobbies. Not only users can play with friends and acquaintances, they can play with other users of the app, chat with others and make new friends. It's all about the social aspects of betting, making new friends and being entertained. Obviously, it helps to make a few quids here and there too!!

Users can bet against friends of their choice through social media, in a completely private way. No need to worry about social circles, after all

It will also be possible to play against other people, again in a completely anonymous way! We want to create a safe and welcoming environment, and we will use industry standard cryptography in order to help our users to focus on the game rather than being worried about privacy and security.

We also want to change the view of betting. We don't believe that when you lose, you have to lose everything! That's not what we want to happen! We want to focus on entertainment. And that is why we give some of the bets back to users if they don't win. It's betting after all, but it should be fair and friendly betting.

In addition, we want our users to be able to tell us how they want the app to grow. We will let our users decide what we should add and improve, through a series of intelligent features. This way we will be able to develop our app based on what our users tell us.

We want to make this app fun and friendly, and we will do it by giving our users the power to shape our growth.

Business Outline

Extensive research has been made in regards to the choice of technologies used in the app, as well as the use of expert designers in creating a user-friendly and easy-to-use, yet highly versatile and innovative UX. We will be working closely with a group of designers and developers with a strong portfolio, which are already working on the design of the app. As we are fully prepared, we are in the position to commence the project as soon as we have the required funding.

Application creation and a strong marketing plan for the app run parallel to one another. We understand that every project will need a strong marketing campaign, and an are aware that effective and efficient marketing is essential in the success of our project. We believe that social media network marketing is the most effective way, but we have plans to go further. We are researching in merchandising opportunities, and we will give away limited edition of concept designs. We have plenty of plans to make the experience fun for users, and profitable for us as a business.

Our profit will be used to cover administrative costs, more marketing and further research and development of the app. We have plans for expansion and the adaptation required for various markets with different target audience and consumer patterns. We have extensive research made on different continents, and scalability will be of utmost importance. However, we are equally focused on adding features and functions to the app, so that our current users will enjoy the app even more, which will act as a marketing force for our app.

We have our contingency plans in place and our finance and legal plans devised. We will use local accountants and solicitors when additional accounting and legal advice is required. Once we have the necessary funds through your much-appreciated pledge, we will commence the project in full speed and according to our plans of milestone deadlines.

Eventually, we will need help and support for our plans for our entrepreneurs scheme mentioned earlier, and we are planning to approach Jobcentre and discuss part-time employment opportunities for administrative and marketing roles. We also need office space, which will be negotiated with Citizens Advice Bureau, Google Campus and other community office space providers. We will afford this with the profit we make through the app, and once we reach our target, through over funding. We have sufficient legal and marketing experience, and we will seek additional sources of advice in an efficient manner.

Higher grounds

We have much higher goals than developing an amazing app!

We are looking to give back to our own society the opportunity that was given to us by our supporters. We want to provide the opportunity to other young generation of entrepreneurs to bring life to their ideas and dreams. Our plan is to use the profit we make, and create multiple funding schemes, between £1000 and £10,000, which will be awarded it to young individuals against equity.

We have plans in place for incorporation of a charity for the funding project, and seek professional help in drafting the funding agreements and other necessary legal frameworks, including the safe keeping of personal information and the confidentiality of the submitted projects. We will use readily available secure online application form solutions, and will use our code of conduct, which will be created by our legal team in line with our vision.

We will approach the department of business and innovation, and discuss the opportunity directly with them, or a division of their recommendation. This will help us deliver the scheme to every suitable and potential applicant. We will also use social media networks to increase community awareness about our cause, and will approach experienced, high profile business gurus for their help, through advice and mentoring for the young applicants.

This fund will be available to all youngsters (18 to 20 year-olds at the beginning, and once we can satisfy the legal and financial requirements of working with 16-18s, they will also be able to apply for funding). It will be available to UK residents from all socio-economic backgrounds. The application process will be secure, safe and easy to follow, so that instead of worrying about the application, our applicants can focus on their business idea!
