Quality portuguese "pestiscos" -street food truck in a statagy square in lisbon and more...!

Hello there!
Our names are Beatriz and Rudi, we're from Portugal (gladly and proudly).
We're two friends who happen to be partners in businesses, ideas and life ('til dept tear us apart, as we like to say) and we like to think of us this way: really young entrepeneurs who have so many ideas but so much to learn and yet to accomplish!
We are in our 20's, Rudi is 21 and Bea 22, and we didn't go to the university; because we didn't want to and our families couldn't afford everything, but we dont give up on that!

During our short life we have come though a lot of diferent people, places and ideas and our life-goal (beside not killing each-other from week-to-week) is to make a living out of our ideas helping everyone we can on the way.
Until this year (2016) we have been developing a gastronomic project that took us many hours and money for 2 years, and now we are starting "the lauching" as we call it.
In June, Bea gave up her last job to move to Lisboa, so we could make it there, BUT Rudi's contract wasn't renewed in July. So there we were: two young fellas striving for a goal with almost no money on our pockets (the rents in Lisboa are CRAZY right now).
We had to move back to our hometown in the wonderful west, but where not much happens. We moved, because at home you don't pay rent, you know? But still, we have to make an extra efford to keep our mind sane. Specially with a yellow old Twingo full of problems!

"The more you know, the crazier you appear to common people" - that's what we go though everyday because we refuse to have a 9h to 5h job if we have to put our personal goals aside, because we know we are striving for something. Our parents call us bread-makers because we work at night (AHAH), we call it "sweat it, until you make it".
We have different projects beside the gastronomic one, and we want all of them to strive, because more important than the projects are the people involved in those, our beloved friends.
In September we came across a wonderful human being and his wife that are willing to help us, and as you may now, help comes in Euros when you want to make a living, specially in Portugal with these motherf**king taxes. This family will soon invest on a 50/50 business deal with us, on the Street-Food business in Lisboa (uh-ray to them!).
This is a not-so-common project, as we will be doing the "Pay It Foward" - you pay the meal, don't take it with you, leaving the bill with us, and anyone striving for a soup or bread, a homeless or a poor child can go there and we will give them the meal you paid for :)
This business is thought to be ready in the beginning of 2017; until there we have been doing everything we can to keep on living (with no job, it has been tough).
We help our families on the family businesses; we are developing a new concept of customized tours in Portugal (with a friend's company: Tugabuddies); we make shuttles across the country; we tour everyone around, specially in Lisboa and the West; we rent our and our friends' houses on Airbnb and do the cleaning; we are doing what we can so we don't have to give up on our dreams.

The money we are asking is for us to keep on living until our next business, because traveling the country looking for the best products isn't cheap and we admit it: we can't stay long on our hometown: it is too "little"...
The funds will be needed until next year, we don't know when, but it will eventually have a due date.

We will use the funds to:
- Help at home with some groceries.
- Help Rudi's 16yo sister launch a "mandalas" home design painting;
- Invest in books and podcasts, that have been helping us;
- Gas, insurance and car wastage (and we admit it, this is where most of our money goes nowadays)
- To pay for some of the university tuition of a big friend of us that is studying Law and works her ass off to complete it.
- Clothes and shoes, we are "independent" ;)
- Invest in the rent of the house we will need when we move back to Lisboa;
- Our phones, that we are paying by leasing;
- Food and living essencials

Thank you SO much for reading this, and obviously, for helping! We will be so appreciatted, THANK YOU!
To everybody who knows what is fighting for your dreams, THANK YOU; to everybody who knows what is to be looked aside, THANK YOU; to everybody that is striving to keep being different, THANK YOU; to everybody loving themselfs as Portugal loves football, THANK YOU; to everybody donating because YOU understand us, THANK YOU!
Thank you so much!
See you in Portugal!

Help spread the word!
