🙌 Hi I’m Ben, an Integrative Psychotherapist. Over the last few years, I’ve had a lot of IFS therapy as a client, and I’ve read a pile of IFS books. I’ve felt first hand how the model can really turn things around. Training in IFS has been a dream for years, and after 5 failed lottery attempts to get a place, I’ve finally got a spot! My challenge is, the pathway to certification is expensive.

🚀 The Training 🚀
From May-July, I will be doing IFS Level 1 training, which will be a huge boost to my career. This training will really level up the effectiveness of my work with clients, and give me a platform to creatively expand my practice beyond one to one sessions. IFS is the ideal framework for getting me back into running retreats, and partnering with other workshop leaders.
Being a therapist can be a quite a solo endeavor, so I’m really excited to be building relationships with other likeminded practitioners from around the UK. So many trainings these days are online. This one is nearly all face to face, which is so much better for me.
Training in IFS is able me getting into alignment with what I believe, how I view the world, and how I work as a therapist.
🌅 The Reward: Building a Diversity Fund 🌅
For every pound you donate to my training, I will offer subsidized therapy for people facing the raw end of in-equality. So if you donate £60 to my training, that’s £60 worth of therapy for someone with less equity in life.
This fund will be for all people who are on the receiving end of oppressor dynamics, and who cannot afford the full rate of therapy. They will be experiencing any number of identity intersections that mean life involves navigating systemic prejudice, injustice, and inequality, such as:
- Race
- Disability
- Gender & Sexuality
- Neurodiversity
- Socio-economic hardship

💷 Financial Details 💷
The course tuition is £4352.
- 2 x 6 Day modules outside Bristol
- 1 x 2 day Online Modules
- I am going stay with friends to save £1200 on accommodation.
- If I exceed my target, the extra money will go towards my Level 2 IFS training, with the same pay it forward Diversity Fund.
⁉️ What is IFS ⁉️
Internal Family Systems Therapy views the mind as made up of multiple sub-personalities or parts. For example, a part in me wants to ask for financial help. Another part in me is struggling with the exposure! IFS is a language that is deeply non-pathological, and is very accepting and compassionate towards the complexities of the human experience. It gives people the permission to be complicated, contradictory, and conflicted. And beneath all those parts is the core self. Therapy becomes about helping people reconnect with their core. I love that IFS can span deep trauma work, right through to executive coaching.
