The Story So Far...

Hi everyone! I’m Ben Foulds, a UK-based solo acoustic musician.

If you’ve caught one of my live sets at a local pub, booked me for a wedding, or followed along online, you know that my passion is bringing event spaces to life with vibrant, request-filled acoustic music.

Over the last dozen or so years, performing live has gone from a hobby to my full-fledged business. To keep growing, bringing my music to bigger stages, and connecting with new audiences, I need to take the production and promotional side of my work to the next level.

What Is This Project All About?

I am transitioning away from my old "virtual tip jar" to build a dedicated community crowdfunding space. Instead of just tipping for a single performance, every contribution here directly fuels the tools and media required to advance my career as an independent performer.

How Your Support Will Be Used

My initial fundraising target is £2,500, which will directly fund two crucial milestones:

- Professional Video & Photo Promo: Hiring professional videographers and photographers to shoot high-definition live performance reels and photo assets. Top-tier promo media is essential for landing higher-profile festival slots, premium wedding bookings, and national corporate events.

- Studio Conversion (Phase 1 Kickstart): Converting a dedicated space into a soundproofed recording and rehearsal studio is a major long-term project and this initial target will kickstart Phase 1, covering initial plans and specialized acoustic insulation (mineral wool and soundproofing barriers).

(Once I hit this initial £2,500 goal, this will unlock stretch targets to help fund Phase 2 of the studio build!)
