Hello, m1717012066_potters_row2.jpgy name is Bell Ribeiro-Addy, and it has been the honour of my life to serve as the Labour MP for Streatham for the past four years. Today, I'm standing as your Labour Party candidate for the new constituency of Clapham and Brixton Hill. For me, this constituency is not just a parliamentary seat, it is my home: the place where I was born, raised and continue to live to this day.

The challenge we face

The last 14 years of Tory chaos and austerity has left our communities bearing the brunt of economic mismanagement, soaring costs of living and social decline. Across Clapham and Brixton Hill, residents face serious hardships. The consequences of our public services having been cut to the bone means that housing has become increasingly unaffordable, youth services have disappeared, and safety on our streets has been compromised. The impact of this is felt by every one of us.

My priorities and vision

I have spent a lot of time listening to residents, businesses, charities and community organisations in Clapham and Brixton Hill. I have heard clearly what our priorities must be and if re-elected, I will push for the progressive policies we need to invest in inclusive growth; secure job opportunities; safer, greener neighbourhoods, and creativity in our community:

  • Rebuilding public services
  • Addressing the housing crisis
  • Making our streets safer
  • Restoring the UK's status as a climate leader, and
  • Providing people with genuine economic security

Join my campaign for change!

What my time in Parliament has taught me is that I cannot do this work alone. Change requires all of us to work together and to play our part. Every one of us. That’s why I hope you will join me on this important journey.

Your donation, of any size, will make a big difference to campaigning for a quality service to local residents and to improving our collective sense of belonging and wellbeing. It is a basis for building a community that we can all be proud of. A community that offers safety, prosperity and opportunities for everyone.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to working with you to bring about the change we need under a Labour government.
