Aim
With lockdown taking 95% of our business away, were are reimagioning our pubs into Pop-Up Craft Beer Stores to bring beer closer to you
With the Covid-19 lockdown rightly impossed - we have lost 95% of our business, overnight as we are unable to:
1. sell our beers, wholesale to other pubs,
2. trade our own pubs
3. attend festivals this summer
We have spent the winter brewing and preparing packaged beer (Cans & Bottles) ready to sell across the UK throughout the summer festival season.
We have luckily been able to furlough all 7 members of the team, leaving Paul to run the business and work out how to maintain a trickle of income to keep the business trading so we can welcome back our 7 collagues and team members, when lock-down is over.
Paul has been busy packaging our beers, that were already brewed and in tanks, into 330ml bottles, and made them into a collection of beers "Cheers to the NHS" with 25% of the profits from this collection being sent to support the NHS Charities Together.
Paul has come up with the idea of building a pop-up craft beer off-license inside our existing venues, that are currently closed, to allow us to retail our own beers, along with helping other North East Brewers by retailing their beers as well, allowing others in the industry to also have a trickle of income.
We're looking to rasie £10,000 - this will allow us to cover the rent of the pop-up units, along with aquiring stock from other North East Breweries, and purchase a temporary license for our North Shields pop-up to allow us to trade as an off-license.
Through careful planning, in each venue, we are able to assure everyone that we can follow all the recommended social distancing measures, such as a one-way system, the availability of hand sanitiser and making sure everyone stays two meters apart and pays by contactless payment.
We have set-up some fantastic rewards for you all, these include Being added to our wall of Honour, Beers, Spirits, Clothing, Merch and a pledge of at least £3.75 to NHS together charities in every purchase.
