Beau’s intensive care

Aim

Beau was in intensive care after being shot with an arrow but after such a traumatic event he has heartbreakingly lost his fight to survive

Our beautiful cat Beau was shot with what we believe to be a crossbow arrow in the West Worthing area in the early hours of Sunday 7th June. Miraculously he made it home with the arrow still lodged in his stomach and we immediately took him to the emergency vets where he underwent surgery. Heartbreakingly he developed a life threatening infection as his body fought to hold on. Despite the incredible care from the vets and every effort to help him through, he simply couldn’t survive such a traumatic event and we have had to say our final goodbyes to our beloved pet.

The police have opened an investigation as this is a highly dangerous weapon that someone has used to kill a totally innocent animal. As a result of this crime we have not only lost an adored member of our family in the most upsetting way imaginable, but we are also now left with the bill for his care.

In the event that we pass our fundraising goal, we will donate any additional funds to be used at the vets for any animals in an emergency situation.
