John G.Hall one time founding editor of Citizen32 is seeking to launch a new poetry and short story magazine based in Manchester looking to an international readership. The title Beatification refers to its Beat Poetry influence but the editors will be looking for a wide range of poetry and prose, plus Beat inspired graphics. The magazine is looking to publish 3 times a year, organised around a travelling launch event and the regular poetry night Beatification already established in Fuel Cafe Bar Manchester. Beatification seeks to be a home for lively new radical wordsmiths and revolutionary visions of age old subjects. All submissions accepted will recieve a free copy on publication and an invitation to read at the launch events. We will also accept reviews and essays that add to the lively discussion of poetry & prose. Plus event promotions and author adverts.
