We're still collecting donations
On the 18th March 2021 we'd raised £9,660 with 213 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To continue with our conservation and education projects we are looking for your support to help us cover our expensive daily running costs.

On the 18th March 2021 we'd raised £9,660 with 213 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
With over 50 species living at the zoo, many of which part of vital conservation breeding programmes in collaboration with zoos around the world, all funds raised through this Crowdfunder will go towards helping us overcome the difficulties that the coronavirus pandemic has caused us.
YOUR ZOO NEEDS YOU
The site of Battersea Park Children’s Zoo has been a pillar of the local community for nearly 70 years and now, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic and our third forced closure as a result of government restrictions, we are looking to our members, visitors and friends for support.
Today we are launching our support fund prize draw to enable you to donate and support the zoo whilst providing us with the opportunity to give something back in return.
To thank you for your donations, we would like to offer you the chance to win an exciting prize for you to look forward to when the zoo reopens again. If you would like to donate towards supporting our zoo, for every £10 you donate through our Crowdfunder, we will enter your name into our support fund prize draw where you’ll have the chance to win one of 15 prizes! (£20 equals two entries).
Our small, family friendly zoo is nestled in the heart of Battersea Park on London’s south bank. We are funded entirely by our visitors and as a result of our closure we can no longer rely on those funds to care for the 47 species that live at the zoo and cover our expensive daily running costs.
We understand that as a nation we are all struggling to adjust to the current situation we are living through. If there is any way you could help us overcome this third lock down and continue with our conservation and education projects, it would be greatly appreciated as all of the fantastic work our team carries out is under threat.
We are determined to always provide a place where children of all ages and abilities can play, learn and discover. Please use this link to donate to our Crowdfunder. You can also share this page to your own social media to help us with our cause.
From the whole team here at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo and all our animals, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to welcoming you through our gates soon.
