HELDER PUTO and SKILLATEAM worked really hard to get BATMOBILE TDI project ready and sadly came to an end at the DOORSLAMERS 2022 after a terrible crash.
On the second pass while testing, we finished the line at 139mpg and sadly Luis lost the car and went straight into the wall.
Major crash that could ended really bad for Luis but thankfully God was looking after him. He broke right shoulder blade and has lots of bruises.
The cage saved his life and we really want to use this unfortunate accident to make sure people have different view on safety while making cars faster.
No money should be put in question when comes to safety. We learned that hardest way and we can only be proud of already had a really good cage but we hope you see this as an example for you.
We been receiving lots of supporting messages and lots people sharing posts to give us strength on such a difficult moment to the team, we can’t thank enough. Some companies already offered some parts for example Simon of SPEEDSHOP MALTA gave us a drag alloy which was brand new and got destroyed on the accident, Luke Stevenson founder of European FWD group also raised some money to help LUIS on this difficult time off work and Chris Eade and his team also planning to do some raffles to help us with some money.
We been advised we could open this site so people can contribute with any help they can to make the BATMOBILE REBORN and to help LUIS on this time off work.
