Aim

We're building a multi-use sports facility, giving young people and adults the chance to discover their sport and build confidence.

Who are we?

Breckland All Sports Enterprise community interest company (CIC) dedicated to providing quality sports facilities and opportunities for all.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We need £50,000 to trigger £1 million in matched grants to build our multi-use games area at Thetford Academy.

How we’ll spend the money raised

This £50,000 is Phase 1 of our £1 million project. It covers:

• Feasibility study and design: £15,000
• Planning application and surveys: £12,000
• Project management: £10,000
• Professional fees and contingency: £13,000

We'll unlock matched funding from Sport England and the Thetford Regeneration Fund and continue to raise money for the whole project.

Community impact

Our multi-use games area will serve 1,500+ students at Thetford Academy, plus families and adults across Breckland. 

It creates year-round opportunities for people of all abilities to discover different sports, build confidence, and develop life skills through play. 

Research shows team sport participation improves mental health, self-esteem, and long-term outcomes. 

This facility brings diverse sporting opportunities to our community—giving everyone the chance to find where they belong.
