Barrow Fireworks 2024!

Aim: It's Barrow's village fireworks display - our fireworks cost over £1000 so help us cover the cost & improve our Playing Field facilities!
The Barrow Village Firework Display is one of the great annual highlights of the calendar, bringing the whole community together to meet up, have fun and share a fantastic all-home-produced display.
The show only happens thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the work of a small army of volunteers. Professional standard fireworks are not cheap - well over £1,000 for 15 minutes or so of Oohs and Ahhhs. But we think they are worth it, as generations of neighbours and friends gather together on our Playing Field on November 5th in the time honoured tradition.
As well as being a much loved event, the Village Firework Display is an essential fundraising opportunity, but it's hard to cover our costs with the usual friendly bucket collection of donations on the gates - people have less cash and our buckets don't do contactless! So, this is a safe, quick and easy way for you to show your support for the village, help cover the costs of the event and add some more invaluable funds into the pavilion pot so we can introduce more facilities and activities to the Playing Field. If you donate online you can also GiftAid your donation, which means an extra 20% for the Fireworks and future events! We really want to improve the outdoor space so local people can really benefit from the pavilion building and enjoy its surroundings.
