Aim

Our aim is to continue to provide football for girls in an area where provision is virtually nonexistent at the moment. Can you help us?

 Barnet Nightingales FC was founded in 2015 due to a lack of opportunites in the borough for girls to play football outside of school. We started with one team who played in the Capital Girls League and ended the season as under 12's 'Sporting Team of the Year'. 

We are now moving forward with our second team for the 2016/17 season and want to continue recruiting players and building new teams into the future. Our vision is to promote girls football and to allow as many girls as possible the opportunity to play. 

We are a non-profit making club and all coaches and committee members give their time voluntarily. We charge a membership fee to all our players but try to keep this as low as possible to encourage more participation. Unfortunately there are many costs involved in providing football including: rental of pitches for matches and training, equipment, kit and administration fees to leagues and our local FA. We would also like to offer a small number of places to children who are unable to afford the membership fees but with our current income we are unable to do so.

Any donation you can make will go a long way to enable us to provide football to girls from all backgrounds and of all abilities over the coming years.
