Who are we?
“At Barking & Dagenham Aquatics Club, our mission is to provide children aged 7 to 18+ with the opportunity to swim competitively at county, regional, and national levels, as well as to enjoy swimming recreationally—all within an inclusive, supportive, and affordable environment.”
Why are we crowdfunding?
Barking & Dagenham Aquatics Club was founded to provide low-cost, affordable swimming opportunities to young people across the borough. We are proud to offer both recreational and competitive swimming for children aged 7 to 18+, helping them thrive in and out of the pool.
Unfortunately, our primary service provider has unexpectedly withdrawn financial support, putting the club’s future at risk. We are now urgently fundraising to secure the initial funds needed to stabilise the club and continue serving our community.

How we’ll spend the money raised
Our main service provider has withdrawn financial support with little notice, leaving the club in urgent need of funding to continue operating. We’re raising vital funds to:
- Recruit a Head Coach – After 12 months without one, we need experienced leadership to develop our swimmers and keep the club thriving.
- Launch a New Club Kit – Designed and chosen by our swimmers to foster unity, identity, and team pride.
- Stabilise Our Finances – To ensure we remain a sustainable and inclusive club for future generations.
Every donation—big or small—will help us keep swimming open to all children in Barking & Dagenham, regardless of background or income.
