Aim: Help us keep afloat during these choppy waters and ensure we can support our staff and sail back stronger.

Hey friends! We have a problem...

After 3 years of hard work by so many people, the next few months are going to be a real struggle. Today our future existence is at threat. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in our closure. We will be doing everything we can to support our staff during this time and also use our staff to support our community in any way in which we can.

But we have a solution

By pre booking meals and events for later in the year you can help us a huge amount. You can also enjoy a big discount. 

How will it help?

Quite simply it will help us survive. We have an amazing team and want to help them keep a roof over their heads and food on their plates over what are going to be some very difficult months. Our staff will also be available over the next few months to volunteer and help our local communities in any way in which we can. 

Who are Barge East?

Three years ago we had the crazy idea to buy a Barge in Holland, sail it across the North Sea and convert it to a Bar & Restaurant in Hackney Wick. 

We opened 18 months ago and are so proud to have established ourselves as the top rated restaurant in London on TripAdvisor (2019) gaining exceptional reviews by customers and media alike. 

We are proud to have an amazing team of people working with us to provide a great experience to everyone who visits. Using local East London suppliers we are proud to support the local economy around us.
